PGA Pro, Tom Watson, who competed in the 2001 Hyundai Team Matches with top tour leaders from the PGA, LPGA and Senior PGA circuits, compared the greens to those at Augusta National. |
| The 18-hole "Talega" course at the Talega Golf Club facility in San Clemente, California features 6,951 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. The course rating is 73.6 and it has a slope rating of 137 on Bermuda grass. Designed by Brian Curley, ASGCA/Lee E. Schmidt, ASGCA/Fred Couples, the Talega golf course opened in 2001. Heritage Golf Group, LLC manages this facility, with David Foster as the General Manager.
