FAQ

1. How long does the actual Detox process take
The actual detoxification process can often be accomplished in 7-10 days. This is only the initial "first step" of getting the active abuser withdrawn from daily use. Many will choose to stay longer (30-60 days) to treat the deeper causes of abuse.

2. What do you actually mean by "painless" Detox?
Our doctors prescribe the most effective drugs available to combat the discomfort associated with symptoms of withdrawal. These include drugs such as Subutex and Suboxone, the first new medications to be introduced specifically for withdrawal from opiate addiction in nearly 30 years.

3. How long is the average stay?
In most cases a stay of 30-60 days is typical in a sober-living, structured environment. 12-Step recovery programs and daily 12 step meetings are a primary focus during this time. You will also meet individually with a Medical Doctor and trained, certified counselors.

4. Can I leave the facility or take days off during the recovery process?
Each of our treatment programs is customized for the individual needs of our clients. There are many cases where "weekend passes" are part of your schedule.

5. Can I use my cellular telephone and/or portable computer to keep in touch with my business during my stay?
Again, every treatment program at Capo By the Sea is customized for your needs, in most cases we offer remote executive offices (with telephone, fax, and internet access) so you can keep in touch with business associates and/or loved ones.
